Jonathon earned his degree at Alma College (2005), with honors in theatre and dance. He studied film production technique at the Motion Picture Institute of Michigan (2006) and he studied acting & directing at The Meisner Technique Acting Studio in San Francisco (2009).
While living in Detroit, Jonathon performed in 8; An Antiplay, an award-winning play inside the Planet Ant Theatre. He co-founded Doubting Thomas Pictures Detroit in 2006. The Significance of Spirals, D.T.P.'s first film, premiered at The Detroit International Short Film Festival in 2009.

Chicago highlights include producing/directing an original production entitled Still Life With Donkey, playing "Hal" in Internet 5, co-directing Walter & The Bomb (48-Hour Film), voicing "Johnson" in Day Under Fire (National Geographic), playing "Joe" in The Cab Ride, playing music with The Cortland Homes, touring with The Traveling Lantern Theatre Company and winning Best Supporting Actor for playing "Adam" in Someone Who'll Watch Over Me (2009).

Upcoming San Francisco stage credits include Closer, by Patrick Marber, and All My Sons, by Arthur Miller. Jonathon is directing both plays, which open in May and close in June of 2010.
